Job summary

A leading offshore inspection firm in Malaysia is seeking an experienced OVID Inspector to conduct inspections of offshore support vessels in compliance with industry safety standards. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the maritime sector, including 5 years in senior positions, and a valid OCIMF OVID Inspector Accreditation. This role involves evaluating vessel operations, preparing reports, and liaising with various stakeholders to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience in the maritime or offshore oil & gas industry.
• Strong understanding of offshore vessel operations and marine safety principles.
• Valid OCIMF OVID Inspector Accreditation required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct OVID inspections for offshore and support vessels.
• Evaluate vessel compliance with maritime regulations.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive OVID reports.
