A hospitality firm located in Kedah, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced F&B Manager to oversee daily operations, drive sales growth, and enhance service standards. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a 4/5 star hotel and strong leadership skills. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is advantageous. Responsibilities include managing the operations team, improving customer service, and ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
Manage all F&B outlet and marketing medium for F&B promotions.
Assist in the development of strategic business plans to meet ever-changing customer needs and market forces according to new F&B trends.
Responsible of daily operations and sales growth of all F&B outlets including expenses, cost and margin control to minimize costs whilst maximizing operational returns.
Assist in the setting and accomplishing of objectives by establishing plans, budgets and result measurement, allocating resources reviewing progress and implementing corrective actions as required.
Coordinate and work closely with Sales & Marketing Department to drive the Hotel business expectation.
Liaise with the Chef in managing food production control and waste management.
Enhance Hotel and F&B outlet image by ensuring team collaborates with customers, government and community organisations and employees by enforcing ethical business practices.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading, coaching and managing operations team(s) to achieve sales and profit targets.
Continuous improvement based on guest comments, suggestions and feedback.
Constantly review and work on improving customer service standards of outlet by maintaining the standard of excellent service at all times.
Creation of new Standard Operating Procedure and to ensure compliance with the existing guidelines.
Meets or exceed all established goals and commitments in accordance with KPI which being laid out in the F&B Department.
To perform any other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time.
Provides on‑going training and direction as required, for all members of the F&B.
Supervises, guides and directs all F&B employee.
Maintains a professional appearance.
Follows up and carries out all established Hotel’s policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar capacity in a 4/5 star hotel.
Required language(s) English and Bahasa Malaysia will be an added advantage.
Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Food/Beverage/Restaurant Service or equivalent.
Organisational skills to function effectively with attention to detail while meeting established deadlines.
Perception and awareness of individual needs, the ability to handle all situations professionally and good interpersonal skills to deal effectively with guests, management and employees.
