Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the bar, ensuring the smooth and efficient service of food and beverages.
- Ensure that all drinks are prepared and served to the highest standards and meet the company's quality expectations.
- Monitor bar inventory, ensuring the availability of necessary supplies and ingredients, and placing orders when required.
- Ensure the bar is clean, organized, and well‑stocked throughout service hours.
Team Leadership and Supervision
- Lead, train, and motivate bar staff, including bartenders and servers, to provide exceptional customer service.
- Assign daily duties and ensure efficient distribution of tasks during peak and off‑peak hours.
- Provide guidance and support to staff in performing their roles effectively and resolving any challenges that arise.
- Conduct regular training on cocktail preparation, customer service, and bar operations.
- Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service at all times.
- Address customer concerns, complaints, or feedback promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the bar, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Inventory and Stock Management:
- Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages, glassware, and bar equipment.
- Perform regular stock checks and assist with inventory control to minimize wastage and maintain cost efficiency.
- Work with the management team to place orders for supplies and manage stock rotation.
Health and Safety Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including alcohol service laws and food safety guidelines.
- Ensure that all staff are trained on responsible alcohol service and adhere to local regulations regarding age restrictions and intoxication limits.
- Maintain cleanliness in the bar area and ensure that IT always meets health and safety standards.
Cash Handling and Reporting
- Oversee cash and credit card transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing and payments.
- Ensure that the bar’s POS (Point of Sale) system is properly used, and cash reconciliation is done at the end of shifts.
- Prepare and submit daily reports on sales, inventory usage, and any issues or concerns that arise.
Event Support (If applicable)
- Assist in the planning and execution of special events, promotions, or themed nights at the bar.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure the smooth running of events, including managing guest lists, special drink menus, and event logistics.

Responsibility
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3‑5 years of F&B management experience, preferably in chain restaurant operations.
- Proven track record in team leadership.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operates POS, inventory management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work on‑site at outlets and travel between locations as required.
- Comfortable working in a bar setting where non‑halal food and alcoholic drinks are prepared, served, and handled.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
