Job summary

A global automotive components firm in Johor, Malaysia is looking for a Quality Control Inspector to conduct inspections of finished products and ensure compliance with quality standards. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of experience in quality control within a manufacturing setting. Knowledge of AQL sampling and ISO 9001 is a plus. The salary range is RM6000 - RM7000.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct final inspections of finished products based on product specifications, inspection checklists, and customer requirements.
• Perform visual, functional, and dimensional checks using appropriate tools.
• Follow sampling plans for batch inspection.
• Record inspection results accurately and maintain inspection reports and traceability records.
• Identify and report non-conformities and communicate with relevant departments for follow-up actions.
• Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation before shipment.
• Support re-inspection and verification activities after rework or repair.
• Comply with internal quality procedures and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degreein Industrial Engineering, Quality Management,or Manufacturing Engineering is a plus.
• 2-5 years of experience in product inspection or quality control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with basic measuring tools and reading product specifications/drawings.
• Attention to detail, responsible work ethic, and good communication skills.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Word) and ability to fill in inspection records.
