Job summary

A leading global materials science company in Malaysia is seeking a Business Analyst for Operational Technology. This role requires a strong background in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Operational Technology (OT), with 5 to 8 years of experience in manufacturing or IT projects. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between automation and business operations, leading process optimization initiatives and supporting digital transformation projects across Asia-Pacific plants. This position demands strong communication skills in English, and proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing or IT projects within SCM, MES, or OT.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, MES, and APS solutions.
• Experience with large scale MES or ERP implementations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirement workshops to capture business needs.
• Analyze business processes and define logical solutions for MES and OT.
• Prepare and deliver training for end users and operations analysts.
