Job summary

Novolyte Technology Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a responsible Operator for our Manufacturing team in Malaysia. You will conduct electrolyte and solvent preparation, operate production equipment, and maintain high safety and quality standards on the line.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in the chemical industry, familiarity with production processes and equipment, and a strong team-orientation. This role requires physical fitness and adherence to safety rules in a dynamic plant setting.

Qualifications

• SPM / STPM / Vocational School or above.
• Chemical-related academic background is an advantage.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in the chemical industry.
• Familiar with production processes and operating requirements.
• Familiar with production equipment and possess good hands-on operating skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Responsible, disciplined, and safety-conscious.
• Basic organizational and communication skills.

• Must possess valid authorization to work in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Carry out production tasks according to the production schedule and operating procedures.
• Perform electrolyte preparation, solvent preparation, and other assigned production activities.
• Clean and maintain stainless steel barrels, tools, and production equipment.
• Ensure production activities are completed on time while meeting quality and quantity standards.
• Operate production equipment and tools according to work requirements and procedures.
• Perform basic checks to ensure equipment is operating properly.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping at the workplace; follow 5S requirements.
• Assist with energy-saving, consumption-reduction, and other site management activities.
• Monitor production conditions and report abnormalities or safety concerns to the supervisor.

About the Role

Novolyte Technology Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a responsible and safety-conscious Operator to join our Manufacturing team.

The Operator will be responsible for carrying out electrolyte preparation and production-related activities safely, accurately, and efficiently according to production schedules, operating procedures, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Production Operations

Carry out production tasks according to the production schedule and operating procedures.

Perform electrolyte preparation, solvent preparation, and other assigned production activities.

Clean and maintain stainless steel barrels, tools, and production equipment.

Ensure production activities are completed on time while meeting required quality and quantity standards.

Safety & Compliance

Wear and properly use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Follow safety procedures, work instructions, and environmental requirements.

Maintain good safety discipline and comply with company safety policies.

Support fire protection and other workplace safety activities when required.

Quality Control

Follow required process parameters and operating standards to ensure product quality.

Report any abnormal conditions, quality issues, or process deviations to the supervisor promptly.

Equipment Operation

Operate production equipment and tools according to work requirements and procedures.

Perform basic checks to ensure equipment is operating properly.

5S & Site Management

Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping at the workplace.

Follow 5S requirements and support clean production practices.

Assist with energy-saving, consumption-reduction, and other site management activities.

Monitor production conditions and promptly report any abnormalities, equipment issues, or safety concerns to the supervisor.

Assist in handling production abnormalities and maintaining smooth production operations.

Requirements
