Job summary

NuEnergy Holdings Berhad is seeking an experienced Operations & Maintenance professional to oversee smooth operation of solar PV systems, supervise the in-house O&M team, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. The role includes monitoring performance, coordinating maintenance, and reporting on operational results to management.

The candidate should have a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field, 3–5 years in solar PV operations, and familiarity with SCADA systems

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in solar PV operations and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, electrical equipment, and troubleshooting practices.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and performance monitoring tools.
• Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage field operations.
• Knowledge of local electrical and safety regulations is an advantage.
• Possession of PW4 or AO competency certification/license is an added advantage.
• Possession of a GDL (Goods Driving License) is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of solar PV systems, inverters, transformers, switchgear, and associated equipment.
• Identify operational abnormalities and initiate corrective actions promptly.
• In charge of coordinating and supervising solar PV panel cleaning activities to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency.
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities done by inhouse O&M team.
• Coordinate troubleshooting and fault rectification for electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ensure maintenance activities are completed within scheduled timelines.
• Supervise and manage the in-house O&M team to ensure efficient daily operations and maintenance activities.
• Provide technical guidance and on-site support to maintenance teams.
• Ensure all work activities comply with company safety policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and enforce safe work practices.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and maintain a safe working environment.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational and maintenance reports.
• Report major faults, downtime events, and operational issues to HOD.
• Coordinate with the HOD on requests for tools, materials, spare parts, and replacement components required for maintenance activities.
• Ensure proper asset management and equipment tracking.

Job Responsibilities:

Operations & Monitoring
