Job description

The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

About the Team:

Support the ASM team in project coordination, planning, and machine improvement initiatives. The role involves working closely with vendors, regional stakeholders, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of automation projects and continuous improvement of machine performance and efficiency.

Job Description:

• Assist in planning, tracking, and coordinating ASM/ automation-related projects (installation, upgrades, efficiency improvements).
• Liaise with vendors, operational excellence team, regional teams, operations and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment and timely delivery.
• Monitor machine performance, analyze data, and support troubleshooting of recurring issues. Participate in and propose machine improvement projects to enhance throughput, reliability, and productivity.
• Monitor machine performance data, identify operational bottlenecks, and support troubleshooting or root cause analysis.
• Participate in machine improvement projects and proactively propose ideas to enhance throughput, reliability, and productivity.
• Ensure compliance and discipline in operational execution by coordinating closely with supervisors and technical teams.
• Conduct site visits to SOCs to observe processes, gather feedback, and identify improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 1–3 years’ experience in logistics operations, industrial projects, or automation environments.
• Fluent in English, Mandarin and Malay languages in speaking and writing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to deep dive into operational data and propose improvements.
• High attention to detail with strong discipline and ownership in driving compliance and project accuracy.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; able to bridge between ground teams and management effectively.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint and AutoCAD.
• Willing to travel to other SOC sites within when required.
