Key Responsibilities

• Charter vessels (bulk chemical tankers) when required
• Oversee day-to-day shipping operations
• Manage import/export documentation and compliance
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and principals via phone, email, or face-to-face
• Respond promptly to inquiries and coordinate complaints with sales
• Process orders and provide delivery instructions to terminals/warehouses
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless operations
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction
• Provide feedback to improve customer service processes
• Handle other related assignments as needed

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma qualification: Degree holders preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows and PowerPoint
• Strong command of English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients (written & spoken)
• Driven, confident, and proactive with excellent interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, mature, and able to work independently with strong commitment
