Job summary

A leading Retail & Consumer Products company in Malaysia is seeking an Operations Executive to manage the end-to-end order fulfilment process. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the building industry, and knowledge of SAP systems. Responsibilities include coordinating operations, managing customer accounts, and developing operational policies. Job description

The Operations Executive will be responsible for managing the end-to-end order fulfilment process, ensuring smooth coordination between inventory, logistics, production, and customer requirements. This role involves reviewing orders, monitoring delivery timelines, forecasting supply and demand, and ensuring all operational activities adhere to company policies and contractual obligations. You will work closely with internal departments to resolve issues, improve processes, and support overall operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Review all orders for inventory availability and delivery date requirements.
  • Manage customer accounts, ensuring inquiries and orders are processed according to customer requirements and company policies.
  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day operations to meet organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
  • Review contracts and agreements to ensure obligations are met.
  • Manage the Order Fulfillment operations planning process, including supply/demand forecasting, inventory management, and executing customer orders.
  • Conduct regular meetings with internal departments to review project, production, and procurement updates.
  • Provide analysis and solutions for overcoming shortfalls from targets.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the same capacity, preferably in the building industry with knowledge of contractual terms and agreements.
  • Possess working knowledge and experience in SAP system.
  • Meticulous in planning, good communication and problem solving skills.
  • Analytical, proactive, customer service oriented and result-driven.
