Job summary

A leading organization in risk governance is seeking an Assistant Manager for Operational Governance, Assurance and Analytics in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and a degree in Risk Management or related fields. Responsibilities include designing ORM programs, managing risk assessments, and enhancing risk culture through training initiatives. Ideal candidates will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a deep understanding of governance and risk processes.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience in related fields required.
• Any relevant Professional Certification will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of BASEL Accord and BNM Regulations on Risk Management.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain an effective ORM programme.
• Coordinate and manage operational risk identification and assessment.
• Gather and analyse the trend of Key Risk Indicators.
• Provide timely and relevant Risk Profiling reports to management.
• Manage the Operational Risk system and ensure its relevance.
• Increase risk culture through training programmes.
