Job description

We are seeking an Operation Project Manager to assist our Project Lead in managing fiber telecommunication projects.

The role focuses on site operations, subcontractor coordination, material follow‑up, and progress tracking to ensure smooth and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Lead in daily operational control.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all work complies with company standards, safety requirements, and telco regulations.
• Manage site activities, materials, and logistics.
• Prepare project reports, documentation, and updates for management.
• Conduct site visits and verify progress.
• Support client operational follow‑ups when required.
• Provide weekly project progress summary to the Lead.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• At least 2–3 years experience in project management within the telco industry (e.g., fiber, mobile networks, tower projects).
• Strong knowledge of telco infrastructure, equipment, and project processes.
• Excellent planning, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Able to work independently, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel to site when required.
