A manufacturing company in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee production plans, manage supplier relationships, and lead a high-performing team. The ideal candidate should hold a degree and have at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with proficiency in Excel and Word. This role emphasizes efficiency and quality in production processes.
Develop and implement production plans that meet customer demand, optimize resource utilization, and achieve on-time delivery.
Oversee all aspects of production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety regulations.
Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions to address inefficiencies.
Ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products to customers.
Oversee procurement activities to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and consumables at competitive prices.
Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of production personnel.
Develop and manage the production budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
Maintain standards of health, safety, and security of workforce, building, and inventories in the manufacturing plant.
Collaborate with the Engineering & Maintenance team to ensure the reliability and efficiency of production equipment.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the operation team.
Responsible for carrying out additional tasks as assigned by superior from time to time to support organizational goals.
