Job summary

A leading cybersecurity firm in Malaysia is seeking a CyberSecurity Resident Engineer to oversee daily security operations. Responsibilities include monitoring security alerts, performing threat analysis, and managing PAM/AIM platforms. Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in CyberSecurity or SOC operations.
• Hands-on knowledge of EDR, XDR, PAM, AIM tools.
• Strong understanding of endpoint and identity security.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage EDR/XDR security alerts and incidents.
• Perform threat analysis, triage, and basic incident response.
• Manage and support PAM/AIM platforms.
• Assist in onboarding new systems into security tools.
• Provide weekly/monthly reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with client teams for escalations.
• Ensure security policies are followed.
