Job Information:Ref190879 - Individual class for a 6-year-old boy

  • Availability: 3 x week for 45 minutes: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 4pm-8pm Luxembourg time
  • Preferred start date: ASAP
  • Lesson Frequency: 3x a week
  • Lesson Duration: 45 minutes
  • Current Location/ Time Zone: Luxembourg
  • Preferred platform: Any
  • Current target language level: Complete beginner
  • Language spoken at home: Afrikaans (native), English
  • Student’s language needs and goals: Pass language exam write and speak fluently. He should have structured lessons, meaning that mean that she wants to follow a lesson plan that the teacher explains at the start or end of the lesson. The lessons focus on grammar, homework, building vocabulary, reading and writing, how schools work and how to be polite in the new country, common phrases native speakers use every day, pronunciation and local accents, a little context on popular hobbies or interests in the new country, culture of their new country, giving compliments, conversations with native speakers, listening comprehension tips and strategies, school-related vocabulary, passing a language exam and practicing making friends.

Qualifications:

  • Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
  • Minimum of two years of teaching experience
