Job summary

Elsa Talent is seeking an experienced SSHE leader to provide safety, health, environment and assurance leadership for well intervention, workover, well servicing, completion, testing and P&A operations. The role covers rig-based and rigless activities, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory and company requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years’ upstream oil and gas experience.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience supporting well intervention, workover, well servicing, completion, well testing and/or P&A operations.
• Experience supporting both rig-based and rigless well intervention operations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the SSHE focal point for well services and well operations activities including P&A.
• Provide SSHE advice and assurance to Well Operations personnel and Contractors.
• Lead SSHE planning, risk assessments and assurance activities.
• Develop, review and implement SSHE plans and emergency response arrangements.
• Coordinate hazard identification and risk assessments for high-risk activities.
• Monitor Contractor SSHE Management throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Facilitate SSHE audits, inspections and incident investigations.
