Job summary

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in an engineering or science discipline; or bachelor's degree in an occupational health and safety related discipline; or Professional Certificate or Diploma in an occupational health and safety related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years experience in oil and gas occupational health and safety experiences.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; proven ability to drive HSSE initiatives.
• Experience coordinating across cross-functional teams and contractors in complex operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational HSE support to line departments (Field Ops, Logistics, Development, Constructions, Drilling & Well Eng) to minimize HSE risks.
• Manage HSE performance across diverse operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct and participate in HSEMS assurance programs for internal and external audiences.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analyses to implement preventive actions.
• Deliver ongoing safety training and promote a strong safety culture across sites.
• Review work permits and risk assessments for high-risk activities and ensure appropriate controls.
