Job summary

A leading automotive company located in Malaysia, Selangor, is seeking a Warranty Processing Specialist to manage daily warranty claims, ensuring quality processing and maintaining relationships with Service Advisors. Responsibilities include processing claims within KPI limits, following up on approvals, and minimizing rejection rates to ensure efficient operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Receive daily warranty claims from Service Advisor for processing.
  • Ensure all received claim documents tally with invoiced warranty for the day.
  • Perform daily processing of claims within KPI limit.
  • Ensure excellent quality of warranty processing to minimize rejection.
  • Constantly follow-up to get the claims approved and Credit Note on time.
  • Maintain a good and healthy working relationship with Service Advisors and Workshop personnel.
  • Ensure all warranty paperwork is properly documented.
  • Establish correct problem and remedy codes.
  • Perform weekly warranty status report.
  • Ensure rejections are limited to 1% annually.
Job description
Responsibilities
  • Receive daily warranty claims from Service Advisor for processing.
  • Ensure all received claim documents tally with invoiced warranty for the day.
  • Perform daily processing of claims within KPI limit.
  • Ensure excellent quality of warranty processing to minimize rejection and outstanding amount and maximize repayment from Principals.
Follow-ups
  • Constantly follow-up with Aftersales Distribution Department to get the claims approved and Credit Note on time.
  • Follow-up with Service Advisor to get the documentation for submissions and re-submissions.
  • Maintain a good and healthy working relationship with Service Advisors and Workshop personnel.
  • Ensure all warranty paperwork is properly documented and that all verifying criteria needed by the factory/distributor are processed correctly.
  • Establish correct problem and remedy codes (and their explanation) and operation number, record the same on claim.
  • Perform weekly warranty status report.
Rejections
  • Ensure rejections are limited to 1% annually.
Others
  • Responsible for performing other duties requested by superior.
