We are currently seeking a OCI Cloud Engineer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur (MY-14), Malaysia (MY).

The OCI Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role requires strong hands‑on experience with OCI networking, compute, storage, security, automation, and governance frameworks. The engineer will collaborate closely with Security, App‑Dev, and Architecture teams to deliver well‑architected cloud solutions that meet enterprise standards and compliance requirements.

Infrastructure & Deployment

• OCI Core Services: Deploy and manage Compute, Block Storage, Object Storage, Autonomous Database, Load Balancers, and Functions.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate provisioning using Terraform and OCI Resource Manager to ensure consistent, repeatable deployments.
• CI/CD Orchestration: Implement pipelines using OCI DevOps, Bamboo, BitBucket, and Terraform Cloud.
• Cloud Optimization: Drive cost efficiency through resource right‑sizing, autoscaling, and performance tuning.

Collaboration & Governance

• Architecture Alignment: Work with Security and App‑Dev teams to design resilient, well‑architected OCI solutions.
• Technical Advocacy: Document architectures, SOPs, and incident RCA reports; provide guidance on OCI best practices.
• Security Enforcement: Implement governance frameworks such as OCI Landing Zone, Security Zones, and Cloud Guard.

Networking (OCI)

• Hybrid Connectivity: Hands‑on experience with OCI FastConnect, IPSec VPN, DRG, cross‑tenancy routing, and multi‑region connectivity.
• OCI Networking Stack: VCN, Subnets, DRG, Service Gateways, Load Balancers, NSGs, Security Lists, and OCI Network Firewall.
• Core Fundamentals: Strong understanding of IPv4, BGP, routing policies, and next‑generation firewalls.

DevOps & Programming

• IaC Tools: Expert‑level proficiency in Terraform and OCI Resource Manager.
• Automation: Strong Python skills for cloud automation and OCI SDK/CLI scripting.
• CI/CD: Experience with OCI DevOps (Code Repo, Build Pipelines, Deployment Pipelines), Bamboo, and Terraform Cloud.

Security & Governance

• IAM & Identity Domains: Deep knowledge of Identity Domains, IAM Policies, Compartments, and Access Governance.
• Logging & Monitoring: Proficiency with OCI Logging, Audit, Events, Cloud Guard, and Monitoring/Alarms.
• DNS Management: Experience with OCI DNS for public and private zones.

Non‑Technical Requirements

• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex OCI infrastructure issues.
• Strong cross‑functional collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders.
• High adaptability and eagerness to stay current with evolving OCI technologies.
