Job Overview:

As an Ocean Freight Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing all aspects of ocean import or export operations. This includes managing shipment documentation, liaising with clients and vendors, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in ensuring timely and cost‑effective movement of cargo while supporting continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee ocean import operations, including shipment coordination and documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, vendors, and Customs to ensure smooth and compliant shipment handling.
  • Ensure data accuracy for shipment tracking, billing, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare quotations, validate charges, and support internal and external audits.
  • Monitor and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational excellence.
  • Assist with escalations, warehouse coordination, and occasional airfreight‑related tasks.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and business transitions as required.
