Job Description
- Supporting Business Growth: Assist P&L Head in expanding and developing DIMKUL Ocean Freight team in alignment with strategic business plan.
- Operational & Service Excellence: Oversee customer service and operations activities, ensuring adherence to defined SOPs to deliver exceptional service quality.
- Team Development: Build a high-performing, collaborative team through effective communication and integration.
- Carrier Relationship Management: Strengthen relationship with ocean carriers to secure competitive rates and reliable service.
- Financial Accuracy: Ensure timely billing and costing to support accurate month‑end financial reporting.
- Profitability & Strategy Alignment: Monitor cost‑to‑sales ratios and accounts receivable to ensure alignment with overall business strategy and profitability goals.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure full compliance with legal requirements, quality assurance certifications, and risk management protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in ocean freight operations and customer service.
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding processes, customs procedures and shipping documentation in Malaysia.
- Proven ability to lead and manage team effectively.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in logistics systems (Sealnet, MyCIEDS) and Microsoft Office tools.
