Job summary

Ambu A/S is seeking an NPI Engineer/Senior NPI Engineer for our Process Engineering team based at Ambu Global Hub in Penang, Malaysia. You will drive new product introduction, design-for-manufacturing, and process development to enable efficient, compliant production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in NPI, Process/Manufacturing Engineering or Product Industrialization.
• Medical device manufacturing experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support new product industrialization from concept through production launch.
• Collaborate with R&D to apply DFM/DFA principles to designs.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to meet quality, cost targets.
• Define critical process parameters and establish process controls.
• Design and evaluate jigs, fixtures, and process aids for builds.
• Apply Poka-Yoke concepts to reduce defects and variability.
• Support IQ/OQ/PQ for equipment and processes.
• Drive continuous improvement to raise yield and efficiency.
• Collaborate across Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Global Project Teams.
