• Industry certifications preferred (CCNA, CCNP).

Job description

Position: Network Administrator

Location: Seremban, Negeri Sembilan

Key Responsibilities

• Local site network infrastructure monitoring
• Responsible for the local sites network and security infra.
• Network, Servers rack mounting and Decommission of the devices
• Installation of the network connections in the DCs
• Configuration and managing the LAN, Wireless and security devices
• Troubleshooting the network connectivity
• Network switches configuration and image upgradation
• Tech refreshment activities
• New access -points configuration and deregister the Ap's
• Enable the network authentication for the visitor
• coordinating with local facility and electrical team for the requirement
• Enable the security policy
• Managing/ troubleshooting the DNS/ DHCP configuration
• Configure and managing the local site Fw's (Allow and deny)
• FAB network configuration and patching
• troubleshooting the FAB area network and security connectivity issues
• Vendor coordination
• Troubleshooting the DC server connectivity problem
• Local sites applications connectivity configuration and troubleshooting
• New lab setups from the infrastructure point of view
• Troubleshooting the FAB devices authentication and login issues
• Static and DHCP IP configuration for the tools
• Monitor local applications in the F5 load balancer at the local sites
• Coordinating with local site managers for the down time
• capacity management
• Hardware replacement

Skills required

• Min 5 years of experience as Network Admin
• Completed Degree in IT, Networking, Computer Science or related
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
• Hands-on experience with security technologies Cisco FMC, Cisco ISE
• Good understanding knowledge on Cisco Meraki, Cisco 9800 wireless controller.
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools (Zabbix, Observium).
• Knowledge of DDI tools (Efficient IP/Infoblox)
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Industry certifications preferred (CCNA, CCNP)
