As a Network Engineer in the Network Operations Center (NOC), you will play a critical role in maintaining the stability and performance of DHL’s global network infrastructure—across both on-premises data centers and cloud-based environments. Your primary responsibility is to monitor, identify, and elevate issues affecting business-critical services across technologies such as LAN, WAN, Wireless LAN, Firewalls, and Proxy.

In addition to operational duties, you will contribute to service improvement by analyzing recurring issues and providing feedback and recommendations to help optimize network performance, reduce operational risk, and enhance overall service delivery. This includes identifying patterns, collaborating with internal technical teams and with external vendors.

This position requires a blend of good technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills. You will work closely with global teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure that DHL’s network infrastructure remains robust, scalable, and aligned with business needs.

The global NOC organization operates across multiple regions to provide seamless 24/7 coverage. Each regional team contributes to this effort by managing incidents, executing changes, and maintaining service continuity within their time zone. The Cyberjaya team plays a vital role in this structure, working closely with other regional NOCs and technical teams to uphold service quality and reliability. The environment is fast-paced and high-pressure, requiring precision, responsiveness, and strong collaboration across teams and geographies.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Incident triaging, troubleshooting and investigations on Telecoms infrastructure
  • Implement routine changes such as DNS, DHCP, proxy changes
  • Provide interim and permanent solutions for business-critical incidents.
  • Participate in change management processes.
  • Monitor and resolve infrastructure events impacting service quality.
  • Monitor network capacity
  • Support and guide junior engineers.
  • Demonstrate ownership and accountability in assigned tasks.
  • Responsible for documentation knowledge base within the team.

  • Education related to Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Telecoms or Network Operations.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • CCNA-level knowledge or certification
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, Cisco switching/routing, and wireless LAN.
  • Familiarity with firewall (FW), intrusion prevention (NIPS), F5 loadbalancing and Proxy.
  • Good communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
