Job description

This role is responsible for leading and driving Malaysia's overall sales performance. It will focus on driving sales growth through strategic planning, team leadership, and strong distributor and key account relationships. The NSM plays a critical role in translating corporate and regional strategies into relevant country-level plans while ensuring execution across all territories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead national sales operations with a focus on coatings and automotive sectors.
  • Increase revenue through strategic sales planning.
  • Manage pricing strategies, margin optimization, and accurate forecasting.
  • Coach a sales team to achieve targets.
  • Negotiate effectively and deliver impactful presentations to stakeholders.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Oversee multi-channel sales models and ensure consistent execution.
  • Foster a results‑driven culture with resilience and adaptability.
  • Travel extensively across Malaysia to support team and customer engagement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Minimum 6 years of sales experience in automotive or coatings industry.
  • Formal sales leadership or management training.
  • Valid driving license is required for this role.
