Job Description
About the Role

The National Sales Coordinator plays a central role in supporting, organizing, and enabling the commercial sales team across all regions. This role ensures that sales representatives have the necessary technical information, sales tools, pricing support, and internal alignment to effectively promote the laboratory’s food testing services. The position works closely with Sales, Marketing, Technical/Operations, and Management to streamline internal processes and enhance team performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Sales Team Support & Organization
  • Act as the main point of contact for the commercial sales team for internal coordination, documentation, and information sharing.
  • Maintain and update national sales trackers, pipelines, forecasts, and dashboards.
  • Assist in planning and executing national sales strategies and campaigns.
  • Coordinate internal communication, ensuring sales teams are informed about new services, changes, promotions, and technical updates.
  • Technical Support for Sales
  • Provide the sales team with technical clarifications, methodology information, testing capabilities, and sample requirement guidelines.
  • Liaise with the technical team to obtain technical data, turnaround times, and service details needed to support sales pitches.
  • Assist in preparing technical proposals, quotations, and tenders, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Internal Coordination
  • Facilitate communication between commercial and technical teams to streamline internal workflows.
  • Assist in scheduling internal training sessions, technical briefings, and sales enablement programs.
  • Support the onboarding of new sales staff by providing access to tools, technical materials, and processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience in food industry, food testing laboratory services, or related scientific/technical industries is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of laboratory testing terminology and concepts (microbiological, chemical, nutritional analysis, etc.).
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical information into commercial language.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration mindset
