Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd is seeking a Murex Datamart Developer in Kuala Lumpur on a contract basis. The role focuses on building, enhancing, and sustaining Murex risk management solutions for market and credit risk modules.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years on the Murex platform, strong VaR knowledge, and experience with risk reporting and regulatory requirements. Onsite work in Malaysia is required, with SQL Server 2012 and Windows Server 2012 proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any related discipline.
• Legal right to work in Malaysia; visa sponsorship not available.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with the Murex platform.
• Strong understanding of VaR methodologies and risk measurement frameworks.
• Experience with risk reporting, risk analytics, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in SQL Server 2012, including query development and data analysis.
• Experience working in Windows Server 2012 environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and support Murex-based solutions focusing on Market Risk and Credit Risk modules.
• Participate in implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of risk management applications and processes.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and configurations.
• Conduct data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting for risk calculations.
• Develop and execute test cases for system enhancements, fixes, and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with risk management teams, business analysts, and tech stakeholders to meet project objectives.
• Investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Support system integration and manage data feeds between Murex and other apps.
• Maintain technical documentation and adhere to development and support standards.
