Job summary

Four Points by Sheraton Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a non-management Maintenance/Engineering associate to address guest repair requests and perform preventive maintenance across hotel systems.

You will communicate daily activities, operate tools, follow Lockout/Tagout procedures, and maintain inventory. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required; some hotel maintenance experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting.
• Experience in hotel engineering or maintenance a plus.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment used in the hotel.
• Inspect and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and kitchen equipment.
• Move, lift, and carry tools and equipment; use Lockout/Tagout before maintenance work.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts as needed.
• Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts using standard systems.
