First Pavilion Global Berhad is seeking a creative Multimedia Designer Intern who will focus on video production, editing, and visual storytelling. The role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment and collaboration with marketing and design teams.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Multimedia Design, Film, Animation, or related field
• Basic to intermediate skills in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve
• Understanding of video formats, frame rates, and export settings
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and composition
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good time management and ability to meet deadlines

Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and motivated Multimedia Designer Intern with a strong interest in video production, editing, and visual storytelling. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating engaging video content for digital platforms and wants hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Video Production & Editing (Primary Focus)

• Plan, shoot, and edit video content for social media, marketing campaigns, and internal use
• Edit raw footage into high-quality videos, including:
  • Cutting, trimming, and sequencing clips
  • Adding transitions, effects, and motion graphics
  • Incorporating music, sound effects, and voiceovers
• Create short-form content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) and long-form videos
• Optimize videos for different platforms (aspect ratio, resolution, format)

2. Content Creation & Storyboarding

• Assist in developing video concepts, scripts, and storyboards
• Translate ideas into engaging visual narratives
• Work closely with marketing and design teams to align content with branding

3. Post-Production Enhancement

• Perform color correction and basic color grading
• Add subtitles, captions, and overlays
• Ensure consistency in style, branding, and quality across all videos

4. Media & Asset Management

• Organize and manage video files, footage, and project assets
• Maintain a structured library for easy retrieval

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Multimedia Design, Film, Animation, or related field
• Basic to intermediate skills in video editing software such as:
  • Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects
  • Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve

Good-to-Have Skills

• Motion graphics and animation skills
• Experience in shooting videos using DSLR/mirrorless cameras or smartphones

• Basic graphic design skills (Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator)
