Job summary

Osadi Commercial Supplies Sdn Bhd in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia, seeks a procurement professional to develop and implement MRO sourcing strategies aligned with global procurement objectives. You will lead RFP/RFQ processes, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier performance, driving cost savings while collaborating with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, Finance and Legal.

A Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years in strategic sourcing are required; strong analytical and presentation skills are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in procurement, supply chain, or related field.
• At least 3 years' experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, commodity management, or category management.
• Experience in MRO, indirect procurement or related categories preferred.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management capabilities.
• Proven data analysis and cost optimization experience.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement MRO commodity and sourcing strategies aligned with business and global procurement objectives.
• Lead RFP/RFQ processes, supplier selection, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through market analysis, benchmarking, supplier consolidation, and cost optimization.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, contracts, and service agreements with suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance against KPIs.
• Conduct supplier reviews and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Operations, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements.
• Analyze spend, supplier costs, and market trends to support sourcing and category decisions.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, contracts, and procurement procedures.
• Lead procurement projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and present sourcing strategies, cost-saving initiatives, supplier performance, and procurement metrics to management.

Requirements

• Experience in MRO, indirect procurement, industrial supplies, maintenance services, or related categories is highly preferred.
• Strong experience in RFP/RFQ management, contract negotiation, supplier management, and cost analysis.
• Strong project management, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyze data and develop effective sourcing strategies.
