Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Motion Artist to develop motion graphics and animated content for brand storytelling across MYSG platforms. You will bring static visuals to life with culturally relevant animations aligned to brand identity and engage local consumers.

The role collaborates with design and marketing teams to produce animation assets for social and digital campaigns, supporting overall marketing strategy and campaign concepts.

Qualifications

• Proficient in animation software; demonstrated ability to create motion graphics.
• Experience creating animations for social and digital campaigns is a plus.
• Ability to storyboard and contribute to pre-production planning.

Position Objective:
The Motion Artist develops motion graphics and animated content to enhance brand storytelling across MYSG platforms, bringing static visuals to life through culturally relevant animations that align with brand identity and engage local consumers. The role collaborates with design and marketing teams to produce animation assets for social and digital campaigns.

Position Responsibilities:

Proficiency in animation software (such as Adobe After Effects).

• Use animation software to create high-quality animations for various projects for advertising purposes on social media and digital.
• Implement timing, pacing and motion principles to enhance the realism and impact of animations.
• Use lighting, shading and camera techniques to improve the visual quality of animations.
• Participate in proposing the visual animation, pre-production planning, including storyboarding, animatics and concept development.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including designers and marketing managers, to ensure content meets project requirements and deadlines and collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute creative concepts for campaigns and promotions.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for new campaigns and content initiatives.
• Support the overall marketing strategy by providing creative input and contributing to the development of integrated marketing campaigns.
