Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented engineer to drive equipment and process characterization, evaluation, and optimization to achieve KPI-driven yield, quality, and cost improvements. You will provide line support and troubleshooting to ensure stable operations.

The role requires a degree or diploma with relevant experience and knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus, contributing to material qualification, DOE/FMEA, and SPC initiatives across production lines.

Qualifications

• Degree in related discipline or Diploma with 3 years related working experience.
• AutoCad application knowledge will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• To perform routine product sustaining functions. F/A and to resolve any engineering issues.
• To perform process engineering, process optimization, new material qualification, cost reduction, quality, yield and output improvement.
• Provide engineering support in trouble-shooting line and product's related problem.
• Maintain and update specifications to ensure compliance of operations.
• Source, evaluate, characterize, procure and implement material changes for quality, yield and cost improvement.
• Conduct engineering evaluation and characterization via usage of DOE/FMEA methods.
• Spearhead and maintain SPC programs for area of responsibilities.
• Conduct training and spec's review and support in customers' spec's review.
• Any other duties assigned from time to time.
