• 5–8 years of hands-on Information Security or Security Operations experience.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning, EDR, anti-malware, DLP, web proxies, firewall policy tools, and ITSM platforms.

• Manage and support daily Security Operations activities, including change management and security service reviews.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage and support daily Security Operations activities, including:
  • Change management and security service request reviews and approvals.
  • Proxy URL whitelisting.
  • Annual firewall rule and network architecture reviews.
  • Endpoint security administration and monitoring.
  • Vulnerability management and security patching activities.
  • Data Loss Prevention (DLP) operations for web and email channels.
  • Security alert monitoring, investigation, and coordination with the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC).
• Coordinate and support Security Operations activities with Group Security, IT teams, and business units, including:
  • Monitoring Security Operations KPIs and driving remediation of identified gaps.
  • Reviewing and approving firewall rule requests, driving remediation of high-risk rules, and coordinating annual firewall and network architecture reviews across Eastspring LBUs.
  • Managing web URL, email, and DLP whitelisting requests, including alert handling, log analysis, and policy reviews.
  • Supporting endpoint security initiatives, including security agent deployment, compliance monitoring, and remediation of identified gaps.
  • Coordinating security alert investigations and incident response activities with the GSOC team.
  • Supporting annual cyber exercise planning and execution across Eastspring LBUs.
  • Supporting compliance and audit activities by providing relevant documentation and evidence.
  • Monitoring, tracking, and reporting Security Operations metrics, remediation progress, and compliance status.
• Support the Team Lead in coordinating monthly Eastspring LBU Information Security meetings and delivering regional Security Operations projects and initiatives.
• Provide regular updates on Security Operations performance, risk posture, key metrics, and remediation progress to the Team Lead.
• Maintain and update Eastspring security policies, standards, procedures, and operational documentation.
• Work closely with business unit IT teams to coordinate Security Operations activities, including vulnerability remediation, security patching, incident response, security agent deployment, ensuring timely completion within agreed service levels.
• Review, triage, and respond to Security Operations-related requests and enquiries from users and stakeholders.
• Support the Team Lead in the execution of regional Security Operations initiatives and perform other duties as assigned.

Experience / Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Cyber Security, or a related discipline.
• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Information Security or Security Operations, with exposure to the following security technologies and tools:
  • Vulnerability and compliance scanning tools.
  • Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools.
  • Anti-malware/anti-virus solutions.
  • Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
  • Secure web proxy technologies.
  • Firewall policy management tools.
  • IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Experience in security alert monitoring, incident handling, vulnerability remediation, and compliance tracking. Experience in Security Operations reporting and dashboard management is advantageous.
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure, Cloud security, network security technologies, information security controls, compliance requirements, and operational process improvements.
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams across multiple regions is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
