Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Security Operation Specialist with a strong background in security technologies and operational processes. The ideal candidate will ensure the reliability, performance, and effectiveness of security tools, including Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Web Application Firewalls (WAF). This role requires a proactive mindset to support security incident response, system tuning, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability and performance of security tools such as EDR, DLP, and WAF.
• Tune and configure security technologies to reduce false positives and enhance detection capabilities.
• Perform rule/policy creation, updates, and validation for DLP and WAF tools.
• Maintain and optimize WAF policies and rules to protect web applications.
• Collaborate with application security teams to onboard and off-board applications.
• Participate in change management and deployment processes for security solutions.
• Document procedures, configurations, and operational workflows.
• Work with vendors and internal engineering teams to resolve issues and plan upgrades.
• Operate and maintain security technologies, including EDR solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike Falcon), DLP systems (e.g., Forcepoint), Web Application Firewalls (e.g., Imperva), and email/web security tools (e.g., Sendgrid, Zscaler).

Mandatory Skills

• Proven experience in Cyber Security.
• Strong understanding of security technologies and operational processes.
• Experience with EDR, Digital Guardian DLP, and WAF tools.
• Ability to tune and configure security technologies effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with specific tools such as CrowdStrike Falcon, Forcepoint, Imperva, Sendgrid, and Zscaler Proxy.
• Knowledge of security incident response and system tuning.
• Familiarity with Change Management processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
