Job summary

Intel Corporation in Kulim, Malaysia seeks an experienced maintenance engineer to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment on the factory floor. The role requires on-site presence and collaboration with Module Engineering to run experiments and implement configuration changes.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electronics with 3–5 years of hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance experience, and a strong eye for detail and quality

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or related technical field.
• Minimum 3-5 year of relevant technical/troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Familiarity with technical documentation and procedure.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning equipment used in the manufacturing process.
• Performs setup, calibration, and preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Ability to work with precision instruments and equipment.
• Works with Module Engineering to execute experiments and equipment configuration changes, supports data collection activities, and generally completes tasks per published procedures.
