Job summary

Carro Malaysia is seeking a Vehicle Inspector to conduct inspections, verify VIN/details, and document findings in our regional operations. You will assess vehicle condition across interior, exterior, chassis, engine, and systems, and prepare clear inspection reports.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. A Diploma or higher in Automotive Technology is preferred, with opportunities for mobile inspections and career growth within Carro's Asia-Pacific network.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate in Automotive Technology or related field; Diploma or higher preferred.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience in vehicle inspection or related roles is preferred.
• Good knowledge of automotive systems and emissions regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
• Verify vehicle identification details, specifications, and documentation.
• Assess vehicle condition including interior, exterior, chassis, body, paint, engine, tyres, and electronic systems.
• Check odometer readings, engine performance, air-conditioning, and vehicle equipment or options.
• Identify, verify, and document any damages or defects accurately.
• Capture clear photos and prepare complete inspection reports using a computer or mobile application.
• Perform mobile inspections based on assigned schedules and standard procedures.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
