Job summary

CSI Interfusion in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced iOS Engineer to design, build and extend consumer-facing mobile apps with Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit. You will collaborate across Product, UX/UI and Backend teams to deliver high-quality releases and robust user experiences.

The role requires strong CS fundamentals, 3+ years of mobile development, hands-on experience with CI/CD, RESTful APIs, and a pixel-perfect UI mindset, plus ownership and teamwork.

Qualifications

About the Role

The role involves working closely with various teams to design, build, and extend consumer and partner-facing products, ensuring high-quality app releases and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Product, UX/UI and Backend teams to design, build and extend consumer and/or partner facing new products, platforms and features.
• Build reusable iOS software components.
• Collaborate with QA on continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) as well as other automated and manual testing to make sure our app releases are always worthy of five star ratings.
• Monitor the performance of the live apps and continuously improve them on both code and experience level.
• Raise the bar by reviewing each other's code, share knowledge, tips and tricks, and generally help out - within and across teams. This may include pair programming.
• Evaluate new mobile methodologies and technologies.

Qualifications

• A degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or related fields.

Required Skills

• Up-to-date on the modern IOS programming paradigm, including the use of Swift.
• At least 3 years of mobile engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern iOS development using Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit, with solid knowledge of Swift Concurrency (async/await, actors), MVVM or similar modern architecture, RESTful API integration, Swift Package Manager (SPM), unit/UI testing (Swift Testing/XCTest/XCUITest), Git, and CI/CD, with good understanding of mobile security, performance, observability and production troubleshooting.
• Strong UX/UI design exposure and experience in making apps work intuitively and with pixel perfect interfaces.
• Strong CS fundamentals (with competencies in algorithms and data structures).
• You are highly accountable and take ownership. You also have a collaborative attitude, because ‘Your Problem Is My Problem’ (YPIMP).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional programming languages or frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud services and deployment strategies.
