A recruitment agency in Malaysia is seeking a Technical Support Specialist focused on technical troubleshooting and customer success. The ideal candidate will manage MNC/SME accounts, resolve technical issues, and work closely with technical teams. A Bachelor's degree and minimum 3 years in IT roles is required, along with strong communication skills and Mandarin proficiency. This role focuses on technical troubleshooting, customer success, and ensuring smooth service delivery for web performance, cloud, and network-related solutions. You’ll work closely with internal technical teams and support pre‑sales activities where needed.
Manage and support MNC/SME customer accounts with timely issue resolution.
Maintain strong customer relationships and provide consultative guidance to enhance client satisfaction.
Plan and execute customer service/technical support activities from start to finish.
Identify and resolve service‑related issues through cross‑team collaboration.
Troubleshoot network, website performance, and service delivery challenges.
Coordinate internally to ensure smooth project implementation and service optimization.
Assist Sales/Pre‑Sales teams in technical discussions.
Support and coordinate Proof‑of‑Concept (POC) projects to ensure successful delivery.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications, Engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Technical Support, Pre‑Sales/Post‑Sales, or IT‑related roles.
Strong communication, coordination, and customer‑facing skills.
Basic understanding of networking and website technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS)
Experience with Linux/UNIX environments
Familiarity with network analysis tools, website optimization, or shell scripting is a plus.
Ability to manage projects, control timelines, and ensure successful delivery.
Mandarin proficiency is required to liaise with Mandarin‑speaking stakeholders.
Exposure to cloud services, Internet technologies, CDN, media delivery, or hosting infrastructure.
Experience troubleshooting customer‑facing technical issues within digital media, cloud, or Internet service providers.
