Mid Level 3D Designer (Events & Exhibition)
A 3D Designer is responsible for creating dynamic and innovative 3D visual content that aligns with marketing strategies and business objectives. The role involves translating client brand guidelines into compelling visuals, primarily through 3D modelling and rendering, and designing immersive and engaging content that enhances brand identity and captivates target audiences.
Responsibilities
- Report to the Art Director / Business Unit Director on a daily basis.
- Develop original design concepts and layouts for 3‑D illustrations.
- Ensure all designs align with the company’s branding and marketing strategy.
- Support a team of designers in bringing concepts, visuals, and proposal presentations to life.
- Produce technical and production drawings as required.
- Participate in the entire creative process within allotted time frames and budgets.
- Collaborate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas.
- Coordinate with project managers and associate creative directors to maintain accurate schedules and realistic deadlines.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Continuously seek ways to improve the efficiency and quality of design processes.
- Prepare for progression to a Senior Designer role, including mentoring junior designers and shaping the company’s creative direction.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Applicants must be Malaysian Permanent Residents or possess valid work authorization for Malaysia; sponsorship will not be provided.
- Undergraduate degree in Interior Design, 3D Visualization, 3D Software Design, or an equivalent discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years of related work experience; experience in the events industry is an advantage.
- Proficiency with 3D Max, SketchUp, AutoCAD, rendering software, or similar tools.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral.
- Proficient in Google Slides, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work long hours, including weekends, holidays, and occasional out‑station travel; own transport is required.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and multitasking skills; ability to work under pressure.
