Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement improvements in logistics processes to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure all logistics activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and quality standards.
• Evaluate the performance of forwarders and implement improvements.
• Liaise with forwarders to ensure smooth transactions for inbound shipments.
• Resolve outgoing shipment delays, discrepancies, and damage.
• Maintain accurate filing system for order documentation.

Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identifying and implementing improvements in logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs and work with global logistics team.
• Ensuring all logistics activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and quality standards.
• Evaluate the performance of the forwarders and implement improvements.
• Make critical decision and liaise with forwarder/purchaser/planner/warehouse/program to ensure smooth transaction for inbound shipment.
• Liaising with freight forwarders closely to resolve outgoing shipment delays, discrepancies & damage.
• Ensure that goods are delivered on time
• Maintain accurate filing system for all order related and shipping status documentations for internal & external audit purpose.
• Other ad-hoc shipping duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.

Educational/Certification Requirement

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Logistics or equivalent

Experience Requirement

• Minimum 2 to 4 years of relevant logistics experience in manufacturing industry
• Able to work in multi-tasking and minimum supervision
• Good knowledge in Microsoft office (word and excel)
