Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to maximize product value through high-quality scientific communication with leading specialists in Malaysia and Brunei.

The MSL will align with the Medical Affairs Plan to help achieve short-term and long-term company goals, and serve as a trusted scientific counterpart discussing therapies and care trends with physicians, pharmacists, and hospital leaders.

Qualifications

Experience in Pharmaceutical Medical Affairs/MSL roles.
Haematology experience preferred but open to Oncology, Rare Diseases, Immunology, PAH.
Strong scientific credibility and external-expert engagement.
Experience with KOL engagement, advisory boards, medical education, congresses, and insights gathering.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) will be responsible for maximizing company product value through high scientific quality communication with leading specialists on a peer-to-peer basis in Malaysia and Brunei.
Through activities in line with the Medical Affairs Plan, the MSL is jointly responsible for the realization of short-term and long-term company goals.
MSLs are expected to be a therapeutic area scientific expert, responsible for discussing our products, patients' treatment trends and studies in the therapeutic areas in which we are involved, on a peer-to-peer basis with defined audience of Leading Specialists (Physicians, Pharmacists, Hospital Managers, Board Members of Scientific Societies, and other stakeholders) and to be considered a trusted scientific counterpart.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Pharmaceutical Medical Affairs/MSL experience with strong field medical capabilities.
Experience in Haematology preferred, but open to candidates from Oncology, Rare Diseases, Specialty Care, Immunology, or PAH.
Strong scientific acumen with experience engaging external experts and delivering scientific exchange.
Experience executing/supporting activities such as KOL engagement, advisory boards, medical education, congresses, and insight gathering.
High learning agility and ability to work independently in a field-based role.
Candidates must have strong scientific credibility, stakeholder engagement skills, field medical experience, and learning agility. Direct Haematology or PAH experience is desirable but not essential for candidates with strong Medical Affairs foundations in adjacent specialty areas.
