Job summary

BP Healthcare Group in Malaysia is seeking Medical Officers to join a patient-focused team at Georgetown, Penang. The role involves performing ECG, ultrasound, providing consultations and medication services, and explaining test results to patients.

You will also lead emergency protocols, train diagnostic staff, and participate in health talks. Applicants must hold a medical degree, complete 2-year service post-housemanship, have a valid APC, and be prepared to attend x-ray licensing courses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medicine or equivalent.
• Must complete 2-year compulsory service post-housemanship.
• Must have valid APC.
• GCP certificate is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform ECG, ultrasound and other diagnostic procedures.
• Provide consultation and medication service to patients.
• Explain test results to patients.
• Direct nurses in emergency procedures and prepare treatment areas.
• Direct emergency protocols such as BLS/CPR.
• Attend x-ray course to obtain x-ray facility license.
