Job summary

A healthcare institution in Melaka is seeking an experienced medical professional to provide emergency medical care. Responsibilities include consulting patients, participating in a shift rotation for 24-hour service, and providing medical treatment for emergencies. Candidates must hold an MBBS and have at least 5 years of experience in the Accident & Emergency unit. Strong customer orientation and communication skills are essential, along with a valid practicing license and certifications in BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years working experience in Accident & Emergency unit in an established private Medical Centre or major public hospital.
• Clean record of professional practices against any legal claim.
• Registered with MMC and possess a valid Annual Practicing License.

Oriental Melaka Straits Medical Centre – Melaka, Melaka

• To perform medical examination and consultation to all patients within the scope of duties and responsibilities.
• Participates in a shift rotation to provide 24 hour service to the Hospital.
• Provides medical treatment for emergencies and refer cases to specific Consultants on the roster or to the requested consultant.
• Attend to all medical emergency at ward level and to provide/carry out medical procedures where required.
• Ensures emergency department services are running smoothly and efficiently together with nursing.
• Works alongside the operational team and provides cover as the wellness clinician at Health Screening Centre Department.
