Overview

Hospital Fatimah is MSQH accredited and a 52-year old established tertiary-care private specialist hospital located centrally in Ipoh. We are looking to appoint a new Medical Director to ensure the efficient operation of our healthcare facility.

Responsibilities

The Medical Director is responsible for the medical leadership of Hospital Fatimah and is part of its executive leadership team. The Medical Director will supervise all medical/clinical facets of the Hospital and perform all administrative, supervisory and educational functions relative to the medical/clinical components of the Hospital. Primary duties include maintenance of a culture of continuous quality improvement, management of medico-legal matters and compliance with the requirements of all relevant regulators. The Medical Director is expected to work closely with the team in establishing medical protocols and to stay up to date on medical trends.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Medicine from a university recognized by the Government of Malaysia
  • Other professional / licensing qualifications as are required under the Private Healthcare Facilities and Services Act 1998 / Regulations 2006
  • At least 5 years' experience in hospital management
  • Registered with the Malaysian Medical Council
