Job description

Responsibilities

• Acts as a key point of contact for media production and publishing efforts in Malaysia across the various church-publishing languages.
• Performs various publishing functions related to digital media production and broadcast event support, etc.
• Manages the creation of digital media projects such as filming, video production, photography, social media, primarily through external vendors.
• Engages with external media and production providers for the purpose of contracting, project management and relationship management.
• Coordinates with local members, communication council, church leaders and external vendors under the direction of the Production Resource Manager.
• Delivers any other special media services projects, such as creating visual text and imagery, typesetting, etc, as assigned

Qualifications

• University graduate or equivalent is preferred.
• Intense interest in media and demonstrated experience working on projects in audio and visual production.
• Proven graphic designing experience and sound knowledge of the basic principles of photography, videography, video editing, audio recording, mixing, and mastering.
• Strong computer skills, and familiar with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Strong track history of delivering projects on time and with a high level of quality.
• Keen ability to manage external vendors and deliver constructive feedback when developing creative content.
• Great communication skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English. Native spoken and written Malay.
• Worthy to hold Temple Recommend.
