Qualifications

Mechanical / Senior Mechanical Engineer (Based in Lahat, Ipoh)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the Mechanical section to ensure all installation, overhaul, maintenance, and repair activities are carried out safely, efficiently and in line with the company’s operational objective.
• Lead, train, guide and coordinate the department to achieve high performance and reliability.
• Ensure all preventive maintenance activities for rotating and static equipment are performed safely and effectively.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safe work systems and maintenance schedules to maintain a safe, accident‑free work environment.
• Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and records for internal and external audits, ensuring alignment with standard operating procedures.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Candidates with Diploma and relevant working experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Preferably 2-3 years of working experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience in equipment maintenance works (rotating and static).
• Knowledge in AutoCad and CMMS will be added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
