Job description

We are currently looking to hire a Mechanical Manager for a global data centre who are expanding across APAC region. This role will be based in Johore.

Responsibilities
  • Lead data center Mechanical team for all capacity planning, design, construction, operations and maintenance activities.
  • Support multiple new data centre campuses across a region.
  • Critical Data Centre equipment design including Air Handling Units, Computer Room Air Handling Units, Cooling towers, Chillers, Sequence of Operations, Control Systems, Fire Detection/Suppression systems, DRUPS, fire protection, plumbing and sanitary system.
  • Define project scope and provide technical support for information requests prior to, and during construction phases.
  • Work with commissioning teams to properly test and validate installation, operation, and performance of electrical systems.
  • Travel to sites for site review and work with onsite field engineers, as well as provide engineering evaluations, mechanical systems audits, and start-up as needed.
  • Provide and prepare all types of documents including statement of work, engineering reports, design documents, total cost of ownership analysis, drawing markup, budget, schedule, commissioning, design specification. etc
