Aurecon Group in Malaysia is seeking an Inspector of Works (Mechanical) to oversee the installation and QA of M&E systems on construction projects. You will work with the RE and project teams to ensure work aligns with design specs, standards, and regulatory requirements.

The role demands at least 5 years of mechanical supervision experience, a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, and registration as an Inspector of Works with BEM.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and BEM Inspector of Works registration.
• Minimum 5 years in mechanical supervision, preferably in industrial or institutional sites.
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems and local construction practices.

Responsabilités

• Oversee installation and QA of M&E systems on construction sites.
• Review method statements, drawings, and shop drawings for compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors and project teams to resolve issues.
• Promote safety and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Prepare inspection reports and sign off on approved M&E drawings.
