Mechanical Engineer - M&E Consultancy (Penang)

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our client based in Penang. You will be involved in the design and coordination of mechanical systems — including HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing — for a range of large scale industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical building services systems in accordance with project requirements and Malaysian codes (e.g., UBBL, MS1525, etc.).
• Prepare detailed drawings, load calculations, equipment schedules, and specifications.
• Coordinate closely with electrical teams, architects, and clients.
• Attend site visits, inspections, and resolve technical issues during construction.
• Support in tender documentation, evaluation, and technical submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of working experience in M&E consultancy.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit/BIM experience is an advantage.
