Job summary

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible in conduct analyze research and development studies
• Realize design intent for mechanical related system and / or parts required specification
• Participate in project from concepts and details of the design through NPD process and handover to NPI
• Develop and generate mechanical products by studying new technology or customer requirements
• Manage product development program, material selection and manufacturing process
• Build, test and study product prototypes before releasing it to tooling stage
• Meeting with business development, marketing, customer and the R&D team to discuss product ideas
• Presenting product design to management, customer & stakeholder
• Redesign existing products to enhance functionality and reduce costs
• Any other task that may be assign by immediate superior from time to time & undertake special assignment, adhoc function & related duties as and when necessary

Job Qualification

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma with at least 3 years experience in product design development. (Fresh graduates are encourage to apply)
• 2D & 3D skills, Solidworks, knowledge in 3D surface modelling will be added advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good inter-personal communication skills, self starter & team player
• Well self motivated, resourceful & result oriented
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision & work systematically under tight schedules
